Go team, go!

Here I am at my 2nd tball
game of the season...
getting a good luck hug from
Aydin's sister "Lala"

Waiting my turn in the batting lineup...
Snacktime.... CHEESE!!!

Mommy is proud to say I am getting the hang of
this whole tball business...
I definitely possess some athletic genes
and even hit a pop-up ball on my 2nd
turn batting!!

Tiptoe through the tulips...

Last night mommy, grandma, and I
took a beautiful walk...
through the tulips!!

Now, grandma and I look happy enough
in this picture...
BUT, I assure you earlier today this
was not the story...
while playing at the park,
I slipped and fell and scraped my forehead, BAD!
Just in time for tulip pictures!!

Here I am trying to cover it up...
(Or keep the sun out of my eyes)

They were SO beautiful!
I couldnt resist running up a few rows,
but I was a very well behaved boy,
and remembered I was not allowed to touch...

but I did LOVE to smell them!
Here's what happened when mommy
and grandma asked me to pose
for one last picture with them...
as you can see, I was not too enthused :)
Perfect day for this perfect place!

1st game of the season!!!

Monday night was the official
kick-off to my t-ball season!!!
I was met with a hug from my best buddy Aydin...

Then, it was off to the field!
Papa came to watch and mommy tried to get a photo
of the two of us, and Aydin went and stood with Papa,
but I refused...
Then I realized I kind of liked my papa,
and jumped right back in the picture!

Time for a few jokes with my teammates...

And mommy giving me some advice
on how to be the "catcher" my official
position for the night.
( I got to put the ball up on the tee
for all the kids on the other team,
I took my job pretty seriously!)
One more pep talk from Grandma Lady,
who may I add is quite the queen of
diamonds on her own team this year! :) ...
THEN... it was game time!
I even made it on base!
(After a failed 1st hit, which I held on to the bat
while running out on the field to retreive my own ball...)
Then came the best part of the evening...
SNACK TIME!!!

And a quick snapshot with two of
my FAVORITE people...
then it was off to get our team photo taken.
Mommy will post it as soon as she gets them back!!

And if you have never experienced a toddler league t-ball game...
my mommy would strongly advise coming to one of my games,
everyone kept laughing, but us kids couldnt figure out why?!

A life of leisure...

Life just seems to keep getting better...
what a beautiful weekend we had!
Playing at the park with grandma lady
just made it even better!
I am getting stronger and stronger all the time...

I can run, and run, and run...

and play all day long!
Between the childrens museum
and the park, I am one recreationally minded boy!

Finally time to rest...
(actually I was making my shadow,
I thought this was SO cool!)
What a life!

Easter!!!!!

Here is everyone who joined in on our
Easter CELEBRATION this year,
minus Grandma Joyce, who took AMAZING pictures...
Mommy and I on our way back up from the beach...

Grandma Joyce and I racing cars!

Grandma Joyce, Papa, Chi-Chi and Baby Merrick (my favorite!)

This picture pretty much captures the
essence of our personalities... :)

Looking at my 2 new vacuum (YES, vacuum)
Books that the Easter Bunny gave me.

Hunting for eggs with Grandma Lady

Found one!!!

West and I showing off our loot!

We were very good about sharing
all of the egg hunting duties!
Our gracious host, Auntie Ann and I...

Then my FAVORITE part of this day...
walking on the beach!

It actually wasnt too freezing out,
so West and I wanted to explore a little bit...

Nothing beats two of my favorite things...
the beach and Grandma Lady!

Auntie Kim joined in on our walk,
notice another one of my "sticks" I found
and toted ALL the way up the stairs by myself.
Chasing each other one the sand...

We really had too much fun together...

I sure wish West lived closer...
Taking one more minute to soak up
the fresh air and sound...

Then it was back to my stick...

What an Easter Blessing to have
such a beautiful day and
wonderful family to share it with!
We never once complained
about being cold,
we were both in heaven!
Trying to race the tide...

With LOTS of my aunties and uncles and cousins...

And finally time to relax with my best friend...
And my mommy...

And some of the most special people to me...
Happy Easter everyone! I love you!
