Whats in a name...

I thought I would take a second,

and tell everyone about my name.

Spencer came from one of the strongest women that I know.

When mommy and daddy chose a proper name for me,

they wanted it to embody strength and goodness.

Well, I dont think they could have chosen better.

Below is my Aunt Loretta Spencer and Nancy Slotemaker.

I am named after Loretta, but I love and admire

both of them very much.

I only hope I can grow up to be as good to others

as they are to me.

Here they are on a recent cruise to Alaska.

Love you both and hope to see you soon!

Grand "Poppy"

Last week I was over playing at my

Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Asher's house.

Grandma sent mommy some pictures,

and we realized that my Grand "Poppy"

has never made it onto my blog!

SOOOO... after I played at the pool,

here are some pictures of us together!!!

I love you Grandpa, and thank you for

always taking such good care of me!

Oregon Coast!

The past few days I have been on the Oregon coast with

Grandma, Auntie, West, and my friends

Patricia, Meagan, Raj and baby Reed

we had the best time,

but I sure was ready to see my Mommy and Daddy!

Thanks Grandma for the fabulous Summer getaway!

Mommy took me to the Children's Art Festival

last Saturday, and I showed off my skills!

I am all boy, all the time, the more dirt, the better!

It was my cousin Kevin's birthday on the 3rd...

so daddy took me out to the lake to celebrate!

Life is pretty good!!!

A day at the beach!

On Sunday, to try and beat the heat

mommy and I went to my

Great Auntie Ann and Uncle Jerry's house

at the beach!!

At first, it took a lot of getting used to

walking on these rocks!

Here mommy caught me in action...

Then, I fell. I was NOT happy.

I thought our day was doomed for sure.

Until Grandpa taught me how to throw rocks

into the water!!!

Life has suddenly gotten great again!

AND, Auntie Ann had a football

that we played with in the water!

After an exhilirating boat ride,

and watching mommy ski,

it was time to sit back and read my

favorite book!

to come and play again!
