So special...

My favorite part of my back to school bbq

was when my teacher, Yelaina showed up.

Mind you, I haven't seen her since early June...

but as soon as I saw her, I got so shy,

and I took her to go down the slide with me!

I was so happy, and I cant wait to go back

to school next week!

Fun!

I have had a great last couple days...

playing outside,

playing at my favorite park,

watching trains on the computer,

and to top it all off, Friday night

I got to go to my back to school bbq!!!

Papa's House!

I got to go to Papa and Grandma Joyce's

house this morning with mommy and Grandma!

I LOVED playing outside with papa,

playing on the swing,

listening to my FAVORITE music...

AND especially playing dress-up with some

very fun new things Grandma and Uncle

brought home from their road trip!

I think I look quite eclectic with this little get-up...

Another wonderful week!

Good things come in threes...

Like spending time with

Grandma Lady,

Pushing Gilbert on the swing,
and saving the best for last...

while eating a dum-dum sucker!

The simple pleasures still get me...

A tractor!!

On Tuesday I got to play at

Grandma Cindy

and Poppy's house!

There just happened to be some

construction going on,

and I got a front row seat!

I LOVED IT!!!

I scream for ice cream!

I LOVE IT!!!

Need I say more???

Too much fun???

Mommy just had to share this...

I think I was too busy today,

because I was a total

Berenstain Bears TV watching

GRUMP tonight before bed...

But mommy still thought I was pretty cute!

(Notice the cat "Gilbert" that I will not let go

of and I think has inspired my

County Fair cat obsession today...)

The Fair

Its that time of year again

to head to the county fair...

My first stop was to see the

kitty cats...

I was SO excited that I was shaking,

mommy thought this was pretty funny

(and for those of you

who knew her as a little girl,

possibly genetic??? :) )

Then it was out to watch

a tractor and some BIG horseys!
Onto our first ride...
a BIG slide!
I wasnt too sure about it,
but Grandma assured
mommy I was all smiles
on the way down!


Then I got to sit in a
real fire truck!
I LOVED "driving"


Next it was time to see
what mommy's tummy
was made of...

She (VERY uncomfortably) jammed
herself into a child-sized
rollercoaster just so I could go...
If that doesnt boost her
self-esteem I dont know what will :)

I kept yelling and saying I loved it,
Mommy not so much...


The last ride I went on,
I liked so much that I had to go twice!
I LOVE driving, and mommy and
grandma were so proud that
I wanted to go all by myself!

They hope 16 doesnt come too fast,
but I do!!

A wonderful family...

I am one blessed boy...

I have so many extended family members

that love me like crazy!

I got to spend the whole day with them today...

Evie and I talked current world affairs
over orange popsicles...
what a day!!

Mommy cannot believe how fast I've grown

and what a big boy I am...

I had a picnic date with mommy at the beach this week,

and we had so much fun together!

And, I am even trying to wear my

big boy underwear now!

(Yes, I will probably not speak to mommy

in a few years because she posted this picture...)

BUT, it is quite a big deal around our house!
